Morse Code & Runic Art

The early high tech form of sending messages is Morse Code.

The code in general is simple, dots and dashes.

I see them as circles and squares.  Two of the basic forms I am intrigued with.

These shapes provide an ongoing range of possibilities.

Biomorphic elements of line, forms and color are in each interior.

They range from black and white, pen or pencil on paper to arches rag as

full color oil paintings.  Art does send messages.

Runic letter forms record the early Nordic written language using marks.

They are symbolic.  Mark making is ancient.  From the caves of Lascaux forward.

I have taken liberty with these marks.  They represent life and mysticism.

An abstract allegorical root for me.  These images are a visual path forward.

Each painting allows line, form and color to orchestrate new visuals movements.
